Shamara is from Kansas City and recently discovered her West African roots, adding a deeper sense of connection to her identity. She grew up in a strict, military-based environment that shaped her with discipline, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility. Rather than viewing it negatively, she sees it as the foundation that helps her approach adulthood with focus, strength, and intention. Her greatest passion is motherhood. Creating a nurturing, loving space for her child is the most important part of her life. Shamara has an easy, genuine laugh and finds humor in the smallest moments, and she even has a hidden talent: she can move her ears.
