Gianna was born and raised in Kansas and Missouri, growing up with a foundation of positivity thanks to parents who challenged her to “make someone smile” every single day. She spent four months living in Greensboro, North Carolina while attending North Carolina A&T, where she experienced life lessons that still guide her today. Dance has been her joy since age three, especially moving to R&B and Gospel music, and she continues to prioritize movement as an adult. Gianna expresses herself most naturally through writing, using pen and paper to organize her thoughts and connect more deeply with herself and others. If she had a theme song, it would be Go Girl by Summer Walker or “#3” by Aphex Twin — two songs that speak for her in their own way.
